Exhaust Pipe (For 2WD)

2AZ-FE INTAKE / EXHAUST: EXHAUST PIPE (for 2WD): REMOVAL

1. REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs.





(b) Remove the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the 3 exhaust pipe supports. (for Torsion beam type suspension)

(c) Remove the tail exhaust pipe assembly from the 2 exhaust pipe supports. (for Double wishbone type suspension)

(d) Remove the gasket from the center exhaust pipe assembly.

(e) Remove the exhaust tail pipe baffle sub-assembly. (with baffle model)

2. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR Removal

3. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts.





(b) Remove the center exhaust pipe assembly from the 2 exhaust pipe supports. (for Torsion beam type suspension)

(c) Remove the center exhaust pipe assembly from the 3 exhaust pipe supports. (for Double wishbone type suspension)

(d) Remove the gasket from the front exhaust pipe assembly.

4. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts, 2 compression springs and front exhaust pipe assembly.





(b) Remove the gasket from the exhaust manifold.
