INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
After replacing the radio receiver assembly of vehicles subscribed to pay-type satellite radio broadcasts, XM radio ID registration is necessary (w/ SDARS System).

HINT
After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

(a) Park the vehicle in a cool place.

(b) Check that the temperature of the radio receiver assembly becomes sufficiently low, and start the engine. Check if the same DTC is output again.

OK:

No DTCs are output.

NG -- REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY Removal

OK -- END
