DESCRIPTION





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
After replacing the radio receiver assembly of vehicles subscribed to pay-type satellite radio broadcasts, XM radio ID registration is necessary (w/ SDARS System).

HINT
After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs.

NOTICE:
* This DTC may be output even if there is no malfunction.
* If this DTC is output frequently, replace the radio receiver assembly.

PROCEDURE

1. CLEAR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

2. RECHECK DTC

(a) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

OK:

No DTCs are output.

NG -- REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY Removal

OK -- END
