EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: FRONT BUMPER: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for 2AZ-FE)

(a) Remove the 4 screws, 4 clips and No. 4 engine under cover.





2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR

(a) Remove the 2 radiator grille protectors.





3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (except Sport Package)

(a) Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(b) Remove the clip.

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(c) Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(d) for 2ZR-FE:

(1) Remove the 6 screws.





(2) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

(e) for 2AZ-FE:

(1) Remove the 4 screws.





(2) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

(f) Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips.





(g) Disengage the 4 claws and guide, and disconnect the front bumper assembly.





HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(h) w/ Fog Light:

(1) Disconnect each fog light connector.

(i) Remove the front bumper assembly.

4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (for Sport Package)

(a) Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.

(1) Remove the 4 screws.





(2) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

(f) Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips.





(g) Disengage the 4 claws and disconnect the front bumper assembly.





HINT
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

(h) Disconnect each fog light connector.

(i) Remove the front bumper assembly.
