DOOR LOCK: FRONT DOOR LOCK: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY (w/o Power Window) Disassembly

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL Disassembly

3. REMOVE FRONT ARMREST UPPER BASE PANEL (w/o Power Window) Disassembly

4. REMOVE FRONT ARMREST UPPER BASE PANEL (w/ Power Window) Disassembly

5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY Disassembly

6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY Disassembly

7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP Disassembly

8. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER (w/o Power Door Lock) Disassembly

9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER (w/ Power Door Lock) Disassembly

10. REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Power Window) Disassembly

11. REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Power Window) Disassembly

12. REMOVE FRONT DOOR GLASS RUN Disassembly

13. REMOVE FRONT DOOR REAR LOWER FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY Disassembly

14. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE COVER Disassembly

15. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY Disassembly

16. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/o Power Door Lock)

(a) Using a "TORX" socket wrench (T30), remove the 3 screws.





(b) Slide the front door lock assembly downward, and remove the front door lock assembly and cables as a unit.

17. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/ Power Door Lock)

(a) Using a "TORX" socket wrench (T30), remove the 3 screws.





(b) Slide the front door lock assembly downward, and remove the front door lock assembly and cables as a unit.

(c) Remove the door lock wiring harness seal from the front door lock assembly.

18. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOCK REMOTE CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY (w/o Power Door Lock)

(a) Remove the front door lock remote control cable assembly.





19. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOCK REMOTE CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY (w/ Power Door Lock)

(a) Remove the front door lock remote control cable assembly.





20. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE LOCKING CABLE ASSEMBLY (w/o Power Door Lock)

(a) Remove the front door inside locking cable assembly.





21. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE LOCKING CABLE ASSEMBLY (w/ Power Door Lock)

(a) Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 claws.





HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(b) Remove the front door inside locking cable assembly.
