2AZ-FE ENGINE MECHANICAL: FRONT CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL

(a) Apply MP grease to the lip of a new front crankshaft oil seal.

(b) Using SST and a hammer, tap in the front crankshaft oil seal until its surface is flush with the front oil seal retainer edge.





SST : 09223-22010

NOTICE:
* Keep the lip free from foreign matter.
* Do not tap on the oil seal at an angle.

2. INSTALL CRANKSHAFT PULLEY

(a) While holding the crankshaft pulley in place with SST, tighten the bolt.

Torque : 180 Nm (1835 kgf-cm, 133 ft-lbf)

3. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT Installation

4. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK

5. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER RH

6. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL RH

Torque : 103 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)
