SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEMS: FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/o Seatback Board)

CAUTION:
* The nuts must not be reused.
* Make sure that the front seat frame assembly with adjuster is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.
(a) Install the front seat side airbag assembly with 2 new nuts.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

(b) Engage the 2 clamps.

2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Seatback Board)

CAUTION:
* The nuts must not be reused.
* Make sure that the front seatback spring assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.
(a) Install the front seat side airbag assembly with 2 new nuts.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

3. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (w/o Seatback Board) Reassembly

4. INSTALL AIRBAG WIRE HARNESS (w/o Seatback Board)

(a) Engage the claw and clamp to install the airbag wire harness.

(b) Install the airbag wire harness to the seat track control cable clamp.

(c) Engage the 2 hooks.

5. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD RH (w/ Seatback Board) Reassembly

6. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK LOCK HANDLE ROD (w/ Seatback Board) Reassembly

7. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seatback Board) Reassembly

8. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Seatback Board) Reassembly

9. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK BOARD (w/ Seatback Board) Reassembly

10. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Seatback Board)
