1. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH Removal

2. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH Removal

3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)

5. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK OUTER HINGE COVER (for LH Side) Removal

6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK INNER HINGE COVER (for LH Side) Removal

7. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH Removal

8. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover)

9. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY Removal

10. REMOVE NO. 2 DECK BOARD Removal

11. REMOVE JACK CARRIER ASSEMBLY

12. REMOVE JACK ASSEMBLY Removal

13. REMOVE DECK FLOOR BOX LH Removal

20. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT 3 POINT TYPE BELT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

21. REMOVE LUGGAGE HOLD BELT STRIKER ASSEMBLY (for LH Side) Removal

22. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK (for LH Side) Removal

23. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT SERVICE COVER LH Removal

24. REMOVE SIDE DECK TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH Removal

25. REMOVE QUARTER PILLAR GARNISH LH Removal

26. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH LH Removal

27. REMOVE QUARTER WINDOW ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply protective tape to the outer surface of the vehicle body to prevent scratches.





(b) Using a knife, cut off the quarter window moulding as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:
Make a partial cut in the moulding. Then pull and remove it by hand.





(c) Pass a piano wire between the from interior vehicle body and glass from the interior as shown in the illustration.





(d) Tie both wire ends to wooden blocks or similar objects that can serve as handle.

NOTICE:
When separating the quarter window assembly from the vehicle, be careful not to damage the vehicle's paint or interior/exterior ornaments.

(e) Cut off the adhesive by pulling the piano wire around the quarter window assembly.

NOTICE:
Leave as much adhesive on the vehicle body as possible when cutting through the adhesive.

(f) Disengage the 3 clips.





(g) Using a suction cup, remove the glass.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to drop the glass.

28. CLEAN VEHICLE BODY

(a) Clean and shape the contact surfaces of the vehicle body.





(1) Using a knife, cut away excess adhesive on the contact surfaces of the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

HINT
Leave as much adhesive on the vehicle body as possible.

(b) Clean the contact surfaces of the vehicle body with a piece of cloth saturated with cleaner.

HINT
Even if all the adhesive has been removed, clean the vehicle body.
