BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: REAR SPEED SENSOR (for 2WD): INSTALLATION
HINT
* Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
* The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
* If the sensor rotor needs to be replaced, replace it together with the rear axle hub and bearing assembly with rear speed sensor.
* The rear speed sensor is a component of the rear axle hub and bearing assembly with rear speed sensor. If the sensor malfunctions, replace the rear axle hub and bearing assembly with rear speed sensor.
1. INSTALL REAR AXLE HUB AND BEARING ASSEMBLY WITH REAR SPEED SENSOR (for Torsion Beam Type Suspension)
(a) Install the rear axle hub and bearing assembly with rear speed sensor Installation.

2. INSTALL REAR AXLE HUB AND BEARING ASSEMBLY WITH REAR SPEED SENSOR (for Double Wishbone Type Suspension)

7. INSTALL REAR DISC (for Double Wishbone Type Suspension) Reassembly
8. INSTALL REAR DISC (for Torsion Beam Type Suspension) Reassembly
9. INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY (for Torsion Beam Type Suspension) Replacement
10. INSTALL REAR DISC BRAKE CALIPER ASSEMBLY (for Double Wishbone Type Suspension) Replacement
11. CONNECT NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY (for Torsion Beam Type Suspension) Installation
12. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE LEVER PROTECTOR (for Torsion Beam Type Suspension) Installation
13. CONNECT REAR SPEED SENSOR WIRE (for Torsion Beam Type Suspension)
(a) Connect the rear speed sensor wire connector to the rear speed sensor.
14. CONNECT REAR SPEED SENSOR WIRE (for Double Wishbone Type Suspension)
(a) Connect the rear speed sensor wire connector to the rear speed sensor.
15. INSPECT PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL Adjustments
16. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL (for Torsion Beam Type Suspension) Adjustments
17. INSPECT REAR DISC BRAKE CYLINDER OPERATION LEVER AND STOPPER CLEARANCE (for Torsion Beam Type Suspension) Adjustments
18. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE SHOE CLEARANCE AND PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL (for Double Wishbone Type Suspension) Adjustments
19. INSTALL REAR WHEEL
Torque : 103 Nm (1050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)
20. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
21. INSTALL FRONT UPPER CONSOLE BOX (for Torsion Beam Type Suspension) Installation
22. INSPECT BRAKE WARNING LIGHT

23. CHECK FOR SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL
