Thermostat, Removing and Installing




Location
- The thermostat is mounted in the housing and located on the rear of the cylinder head.

1. Drain the engine coolant into a suitable container.

2. Remove the mounting bolts from the flange.

3. Remove the flange and the thermostat.


To install:

1. Install the thermostat with a lubricated and new O-ring.

2. Install the thermostat housing.

3. Install and tighten the fasteners. Tighten to 8 Nm.

4. Top off cooling system with the recommended fluid and concentration.
