Front Belt Tensioning Unit, Deploying (Disposal)


WARNING!
- It is dangerous to scrap an unignited gas generator.
- The belt tensioner unit gas generator must be made unusable before scrapping. This is important because the gas generator is a pyrotechnic device that can cause injury if activated improperly (for instance when using a cutting torch).


- Remove seat belt with belt tensioning unit

Use J-44210 Deployment Tool and refer to the Airbag & Pyrotechnic Deployment Device Instruction Booklet for proper deployment procedure.
