Amplifier (Monsoon), Removing And Installing

The Monsoon system amplifier is located under the rear shelf, to the right rear. The amplifier is secured to a bracket on the rear shelf.

To remove the amplifier, perform the following steps:
- Open luggage compartment.
- Disconnect connectors.







- Remove amplifier securing screws -2- from within luggage compartment.
- Take amplifier out of bracket.


NOTE: After amplifier replacement, code (radio) sound system functions using On Board Diagnostic program


If bracket -b- is to be removed, perform the following steps:
- Remove rear shelf cover.
- Remove nuts from threaded studs -1- using a suitable wrench. It may be necessary for a second person to counter - hold bracket -b- from the luggage compartment.
