Rear Coupling Rod For Stabilizer Bar, Aluminum


Rear Coupling rod for stabilizer bar, removing and installing Aluminum
Removing
- Remove wheel.





- Remove securing bolts -1- for brake caliper housing.





- Remove coupling rod from stabilizer bar.
1. hex nut





- Remove clamp -3- for stabilizer bar -2-.
1. Subframe
4. Eccentric bolt





- Remove bolt -3- for shock absorber for lower control arm.
1. Control arm
2. Parking brake cable
3. Bolt for shock absorber
A - Retaining clip for parking brake cable
- Pull wheel bearing housing with lower control arm downward.





- Insert a punch -1- or similar through the shock absorber bushing hole.
- Remove lower hex bolt for coupling rod.

Installing
Install in reverse order
- Install wheel and tighten.

Tightening torques:
Shock absorber to control arm
*Self-locking nut, 70 Nm
Coupling rod to wheel bearing housing
Hex bolt, 55 Nm
Stabilizer bar clamp to subframe
*Self-locking nut, 20 Nm
Coupling rod to stabilizer bar
*Self-locking nut, 50 Nm
*Replace each time after removing
