Headlight Housing With High Intensity Gas Discharge (HID) Lamp, Removing and Installing

Left HID headlight, removing
- Disconnect battery.







- Disengage retainer -1- downwards and slide lever -2- upwards.
- Pull headlight housing -3- forward slightly.
- Disconnect electrical connection from headlight.
- Slide headlight housing forward and out from fender opening.

Left HID headlight, installing







- Reconnect electrical connection -1- to headlight.
- Position headlight insert in guide rails -arrows- and slide unit to rear.
- Move lever in engine compartment down again to engage retainer.
- Reconnect battery.
- Check headlight aim.

Right HID headlight, removing
- Disconnect battery.







- Disengage retainer -1- downwards and slide lever -2- upwards.
- Pull headlight housing -3- forward slightly.
- Disconnect electrical connector from headlight.
- Slide headlight housing forward and out from fender opening.

Right HID headlight, installing







- Reconnect electrical connection -1- to headlight.
- Position headlight insert in guide rails -arrows- and slide unit to rear.
- Move lever in engine compartment downwards again to engage retainer.
- Reconnect battery.
- Checking headlight aim.
