Center Console Mounting Bracket, Rabbit from MY 2004

With Front Center Armrest and 2 Air Vents in Center Console

- Switch off ignition.

- Remove center console. Refer to => [ Center Console, Highline, Rabbit from MY 2004 ]. Center Console, Highline, Rabbit From My 2004

- Remove two nuts - 1 - (8 Nm) and remove mounting bracket - 2 -.





Without Front Center Armrest and without 2 Air Vents in Center Console

Vehicles with automatic transmission

- Loosen boot from cover.

Vehicles with manual transmission and Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG)

- Loosen boot from cover.

- Remove the storage compartment/ashtray (Golf from MY 04 ), refer to=> [ Storage Compartment or Ashtray, Rabbit from MY 2004 ] Storage Compartment or Ashtray, Rabbit From My 2004

- Unclip cover - 1 - from trim using a small screwdriver.

- Remove bolt - 2 - (1.5 Nm).

- Pull left footwell trim - 3 - out of mounts.

- Remove the right trim panel, foot well, removal is identical

- It is not necessary to remove the trim - 4 - on both sides.





- Remove the two bolts - 3 - and - 4 - (1.5 Nm).

It is not necessary to remove the bolts - 1 -, - 2 - and - 5 - in order to remove the center console mounting bracket





- Remove two nuts - 1 - (8 Nm) and remove mounting bracket - 2 -.





Installation

- Install in reverse order of removal.
