Underbody Trim Assembly Overview

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench 2 to 10 Nm (V.A.G 1783)

• The illustration shows the left side. It can also be applied to the right side.





1 Underbody cover

• - Arrow - points in direction of travel.

• Removing:

- Remove hex nuts - 2 -.

2 Hex nut

• Qty. 8

• 1.5 Nm

3 Rear underbody cover

• Only installed on the left side.

• Removing:

- Remove hex head nuts - 4 - and screws - 5 -.

4 Hex nut

• Qty. 1

• 1.5 Nm

5 Bolt

• Qty. 3

• 2 Nm

6 Cover

• Removing:

- Remove the bolts - 7 -.

7 Bolt

• Qty. 2

• 2 Nm
