Selector Mechanism Overview, from 03.2009


Shift the selector lever into the "P" position and engage parking brake before working with the engine running.






1 Selector Handle with Cover

2 Selector Lever and Selector Mechanism with Selector Lever Cable

• With the shift lock solenoid (N110).

• Do not grease the cable.

• Removal and installation, refer to => [ Selector Lever and Shift Mechanism with Cable, from 03.2009 ] Selector Lever and Shift Mechanism with Cable, from 03.2009.

• Checking, refer to => [ Selector Lever Cable Checking, through 02.2009 ] Testing and Inspection.

• Adjusting, refer to => [ Selector Lever Cable Adjusting, through 02.2009 ] Adjustments.

3 Bolt, 8 Nm

4 Nut, 8 Nm

• Quantity: 4

5 Selector Housing

6 Securing Plate

• Always replace after removing.
