Rear Door Striker: Service and Repair

Striker Pin

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench (V.A.G 1332)

• Socket (3410)

• The following describes removing and installing the right rear door. It is identical for the rear left door.






Removing

- Remove the bolts - 1 -.

- Remove the striker pin - 2 - from the pillar.

Installing

- Attach the striker pin - 2 - to the pillar.

- Tighten the bolts - 1 - to the tightening specification: 20 Nm.
