Rear Turn Signal Bulb

Removing

• Illustrations depict removal and installation of the left side. Removal and installation of the right side is performed symmetrically.

- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and move the ignition key or start button into the 0 position (preliminary engaged position).

• During removal and installation, leave ignition key with remote control inside the vehicle to prevent the doors from locking and possibly activating the "Coming Home / Leaving Home" functions on its own.

- Remove the bulb carrier for the side panel tail lamp. Refer to => [ Removing and installing the bulb holder: ] Side Panel Tail Lamps.

- Press the left rear turn signal lamp (M6) or right rear turn signal lamp (M8) - 2 - into the socket slightly, rotate it in the - direction of the arrow - and remove it from the bulb carrier - 3 -.






Turn signal bulb: 12 V, 10W

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:






• The connector - 2 - must engage "audibly" when installing.

• Connector is locked correctly when locking button - 1 - is engaged.
