Backup Battery Volvo On Call Plus, Replacing

Removing the backup battery
Remove the radio and carphone.

Remove the keypad.







Remove the two Torx 6 screws as shown in the figure.

Open the hatch and lift out the battery.

Press the catch using a screwdriver to disconnect the connector.

NOTE:
- Be very careful when releasing the catch. The connector and printed circuit board are fragile.
- On the old battery, mark a cross in the box on the battery decal, when the backup battery has been replaced. This prevents new and old batteries from being mixed up.

Installing the backup battery

Install:







- the connector on the printed circuit board.

NOTE: Check that the catch locks the connector.

- the hatch
- the two screws
- the keypad
- the radio and carphone.

The counter must be reset when a new backup battery has been replaced.
