Cable Harness Volvo On Call Plus, Repair

Exposing the cable harness

Remove:
- the center console.
- the radio.
- the phone module (PHM).
Disconnect the connector at the SRS (supplemental restraint system) control module.

Repairing cable harnesses

NOTE:
- If an airbag(s) has deployed, the cable harness must be checked.
- If an airbag(s) has deployed, the status of the reserve battery must be checked.

The following terminals are for Volvo On Call Plus:







The connector at the SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) control module: Terminal B28/yellow/white cable).

Connector at the keypad: Terminal 17 (Yellow/white cable).







Repair the cable harness.

NOTE: The cable between the carphone and SRS (supplemental restraint system) control modules (yellow/white) is joined in the cable harness and is routed to the central electronic module.
