Preparatory work

Disconnecting the battery lead
Disconnect the battery negative cable. See: Battery Disconnecting

Removal

Removing pulley
Remove the generator (GEN). See: Generator Service and Repair.




Remove the belt pulley from the rotor shaft, use tool: 999 7113 Spanner 999 7113 Spanner and 999 5761 Socket 999 5761 Socket as shown.

Installation

Installing pulley
Screw on the belt pulley and tighten it, use tool: 999 7113 Spanner 999 7113 Spanner and 999 5761 Socket 999 5761 Socket. Tighten, see: Tightening torque [1][2]Specifications.
Install the generator (GEN). See: Generator Service and Repair.

Finishing

Installing the battery lead
Fit the battery's negative cable in accordance with:.

Test the function.
