Removal

Note! Bushings must always be replaced on both sides.
Remove the final drive. Refer to: Final drive Final Drive
Remove the 3 screws from the final drive.
Use 951 2923 Hydraulic hole cylinder 951 2923 Hydraulic Hole Cylinder together with 951 2566 Hydraulic pump 951 2566 Hydraulic Pump
Note! When using 951 2923 Hydraulic hole cylinder 951 2923 Hydraulic Hole Cylinder it may be necessary to regrip on account of the cylinder's restricted stroke length, (release the cylinder and screw the nut in on the puller rod).

Push forward the final drive slightly, to create space at the front of the bushing.
Position the tools as illustrated.
Check that the threaded rod goes through the front punch completely, so that a full thread is obtained.
Centre the tools against the bushing and sub-frame and tighten the nut on the puller rod.
Press out the bushing.
Installation
Note! When using 951 2923 Hydraulic hole cylinder 951 2923 Hydraulic Hole Cylinder it may be necessary to regrip on account of the cylinder's restricted stroke length, (release the cylinder and screw the nut in on the puller rod).

Push forward the final drive slightly, to create space at the front of the bushing.
Mark up the bushing with a line as illustrated, it is extremely important that the bushing is install in the right position.
Place the bushing and tool as illustrated
Exercise care to centre the tool, tighten the nut on the puller rod and press in the bushing.
Check that the threaded rod goes through the front punch completely, so that a full thread is obtained.
Centre the tools against the bushing and sub-frame and tighten the nut on the puller rod.
Note! The marking on the bushing should face downward.
The bushing is in the correct position when the flange on 999 7334 Drift 999 7334 Drift rests on 999 7336 Cone 999 7336 Cone when the tool is pressed together.
Install the following items:
- the final drive with the 3 screws, first tighten so that the final drive lies against the two rear bushings. Tighten the screws according to: Tightening torque Tightening Torque
- the final drive. Refer to: Final drive Final Drive
