Operate the roof to the position illustrated so that the gas spring is as long as possible.

Removal

Removing the gas spring





WARNING: Replace one gas spring at a time.

Undo the upper and lower retainer.

HINT: Use a small flat chisel.

Installation

Installing the gas spring

Install:
- the lower gas spring retainer
- the upper gas spring retainer.

HINT: Use a polygrip.
