Check ground leads between power seat and ground according to table below for an open-circuit according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault: Open-circuit, permanent faults.

Check connector.

Fault-trace for a short-circuit to supply voltage if the fuses have blown according to Checking wiring and terminals. Permanent fault: Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults.
