Remove:
- the cover in left-hand side panel.
- the three clips in the top edge of the side panel.

Installation
- Take the cooler/hotbox from the kit. Place it over the hole in the backrest so that the catches (1) in the box engage in the corresponding holder (2) in the backrest.
- Fold the backrest back into place.
- Take the screws and tighten the upper edge of the box in the backrest.
- Fold the backrest forward again.
- Press the cable end with Velcro into the upholstery of the backrest.
- Route the cable to the right at the rear edge of the backrest.
- Clamp the cable at the cable duct and the existing cable harness with cable ties from the kit.
- Take cable harness (A) and foam tape pieces from the kit.
- Remove the protective tape and wrap the foam tape around the relay.
- Take the cable harness (A) and connect the grey connector to the connector from the cooler/hotbox that was previously routed.
- Route the cable harness along the existing cable harness to the rear edge of the wheel housing and secure it with two cable ties from the kit.
Steps 15-17 apply to cars without a 12V socket.
- Secure the cable with the white 2-pin male connector (1) together with the relay (1), at the existing cable harness with cable ties from the kit.
- Connect the existing white 2-pin male connector (2) to the white 2-pin female connector (3) in the pre-routed cable harness.
- Route the remaining long cable with two green connectors along the rear member to the left-hand tail lamp.
- Connect the existing green 5-pin male connector (1) to the green 5-pin female connector (2) in the pre-routed cable harness.
- Secure the excess cable (3) with a cable tie from the kit.
Applies to cars with trailer module (TRM) and/or parking assistance camera (PAC).
- If the car is equipped with a trailer module (TRM), PAC or both: Disconnect the green male connector from the TRM/PAC and connect it to the cable harness green 5-pin female connector. Connect the remaining male connector to TRM/PAC.
- Clamp the pre-routed cable harness at the existing cable harness with four cable ties from the kit.
Steps 18-20 apply to cars with a 12V socket.
- Clamp the cable with the relay (1) at the existing cable harness with cable ties from the kit.
- Connect the existing white 2-pin male connector (2) that was disconnected from the 12V socket to the white 2-pin female connector (3) in the pre-routed cable harness.
The cable with the white 2-pin male connector (4) is later connected to the 12V socket when the side panel is reinstalled.
Steps 21-23 applies to cars without the pre-routed cable to the 12V socket
- Secure the cable with the white 2-pin male connector (1) together with the relay (1), at the existing cable harness with cable ties from the kit.
- The long cable with two green connectors (2) are rolled together and clamped at the existing cable harnesses.
- Take the cable harness (B) from the kit and place it along the rear member with the two grey connectors and the fuse at the left-hand tail lamp.
- Connect the white 2-pin male connector (3) in the newly routed cable harness to the white 2-pin male connector (4) in the cable harness that was first routed.
- Connect the existing grey 2-pin male connector (1) to the grey 2-pin female connector (2) in the pre-routed cable harness.
- Clamp the excess cable (3) and fuse (3) with cable ties from the kit.
- Connect the ground cable to the existing grounding point and tighten the screw to 10 Nm (7.5 lb.ft.).
Applies to cars with parking assistance camera (PAC)
- If the car is equipped with PAC: Disconnect the grey male connector from the control module. Connect it to the cable harness grey 2-pin female connector. Connect the excess cable and fuse as before.
- Clamp the pre-routed cable harness at the existing cable harness with four cable ties from the kit.
If there is no cable harness to secure to, tape up the new cable harness.
