Removal

Note! Move the gear shift lever to the P-position.









Note! Mark the position of the flange against the propeller shaft.





Note! Mark the position of the flange against the pinion shaft end.

Note! Place a container under the bevel gear.

Installation




999 5653 Punch 999 5653 Punch , the end marked 1155.
999 5504 PRESS TOOL, DRIVE FLANGE 999 5504 Press Tool, Drive Flange





Caution! There must be no axial play.

Install the flexplate as marked previously.
999 5504 PRESS TOOL, DRIVE FLANGE 999 5504 Press Tool, Drive Flange if necessary.
Install a new lubricated nut. Tighten. See: Service and Repair




Check the oil level in the bevel gear.
Use oil. Refer to: Lubrication transmission Specifications
Fill up oil to the oil filler plug. Suck out 0.1 l oil.
Torque: Oil filler plug, bevel gear, 35 Nm




Install the propeller shaft according to the previous mark. Use new screws. Tighten. Propeller Shaft
