Removal

Perform battery disconnecting and connecting Refer to: Battery disconnecting and connecting Battery Disconnecting and Connecting

Remove the following items:
- the valve cover Refer to: Valve cover Service and Repair
- Crankshaft front seal Refer to: Crankshaft front seal Service and Repair
- Tensioner accessory drive belt Refer to: Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner Service and Repair
- Upper torque rod Refer to: Upper torque rod, B6324S4, B6324S5, B6304T4 Upper Torque Rod
- Engine support insulator, right Refer to: Engine support insulator, right Engine Support Insulator, Right

Torque: M8, 24 Nm

Torque: M10, 50 Nm

Torque: M6, 10 Nm

Note! The component can only be installed in 1 position.

1. Torque: M6, 10 Nm

2. Torque: M10, 50 Nm

Caution! Note the position of the components before removal.

Installation

Note! Make sure that these components are installed to the noted removal position.

Torque: M8, 24 Nm

Torque: M6, 10 Nm

Caution! Take extra care not to damage the mating faces.

Note! Make sure that the mating faces are clean and free of foreign material.

Note! The component must be installed within 5 minutes of applying the sealant.

Use: Chemical gasket, 30757050

Torque: M8, 24 Nm

Torque: Centre screw idler roller , 35 Nm

Torque: M6, 10 Nm

Torque: M8, 24 Nm

Install crankshaft seal, front Refer to: Crankshaft front seal Service and Repair

Install the following items:
- the valve cover Refer to: Valve cover Service and Repair
- Tensioner accessory drive belt Refer to: Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner Service and Repair
- Engine support insulator, right Refer to: Engine support insulator, right Engine Support Insulator, Right
- Upper torque rod Refer to: Upper torque rod, B6324S4, B6324S5, B6304T4 Upper Torque Rod

Perform battery disconnecting and connecting Refer to: Battery disconnecting and connecting Battery Disconnecting and Connecting
