Armrest Pull Cup Replacement (Monte Carlo)

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Impala) Service and Repair Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Monte Carlo) Service and Repair




2. Remove the outside screw from the door armrest pull cup




3. Remove the screws from the pull cup retaining bracket.
4. Remove the retaining bracket.
5. Remove the lower half of the pull cup.




6. Press in the clips and remove the upper half of the pull cup.




7. For the left door, remove the door rear view mirror switch and power window switch.
8. For the right door, remove the power window switch.

Installation Procedure




1. For the left door, install the door rear view mirror switch and power window switch.
2. For the right door, install the power window switch.




3. Install the upper half of the armrest pull cup.
4. Install the lower half of the pull cup.




5. Install the pull cup retaining bracket.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

6. Install the screws to the pull cup retaining bracket.

Tighten the pull cup retaining bracket screws to 6 Nm (53 lb in).




7. Install the outside screw to the door armrest pull cup

Tighten the pull cup screw to 2 Nm (18 lb in).

8. Install the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Impala) Service and Repair Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Monte Carlo) Service and Repair
