Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.

2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.





3. Remove the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) nuts (1).





4. Lift the BPMV assembly (1) upward to disengage the BPMV insulators from the brake pressure modulator valve bracket.

Support the BPMV assembly with heavy mechanics wire or equivalent.





5. Remove the BPMV bracket bolts (1).





6. Remove the BPMV bracket (1).

Installation Procedure





1. Install the BPMV bracket (1).





Caution:
Refer to Fastener Caution Fastener Caution.

2. Install the BPMV bracket bolts (1) and tighten to 27 Nm (20 lb ft).





3. Position the BPMV assembly (1) to the brake pressure modulator valve bracket.





4. Install the BPMV nuts (1) and tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb in).
