Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Outlet Hose Replacement (LS3, LS7)

Removal Procedure

1. Place drain pans under the vehicle as needed.

2. Remove as much power steering fluid from the remote power steering fluid reservoir as possible.

3. Remove the power steering fluid reservoir. Refer to Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement (LS3, LS7) Service and RepairPower Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement (LS9) Service and Repair




4. Remove the clamp retaining the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose (2) to the power steering pump (3).

5. Remove the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose (2) from the pump.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose (2) to the vehicle.

2. Install the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose (2) to the remote power steering fluid reservoir (1).

3. Install the remote power steering fluid outlet hose (2) to the power steering pump (3).

4. Install the remote power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose clamps.

5. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding Service and Repair.
