Differential Oil Cooler Inlet Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.

2. Lower and support the rear of the exhaust system.

3. Install a drain pan under the vehicle.

4. Disconnect the differential cooler pump outlet pipe from the differential cooler. Refer to Differential Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick Connect Fitting Differential Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick Connect Fitting.

5. Disconnect the differential cooler pump outlet pipe from the differential cooler pump. Refer to Differential Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick Connect Fitting Differential Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick Connect Fitting.

6. Remove the differential cooler outlet pipe from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the differential cooler outlet pipe to the vehicle.

2. Connect the differential cooler pump outlet pipe to the differential cooler pump. Refer to Differential Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick Connect Fitting Differential Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick Connect Fitting.

3. Connect the differential cooler pump outlet pipe to the differential cooler. Refer to Differential Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick Connect Fitting Differential Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick Connect Fitting.

4. Fill the differential fluid. Refer to Rear Axle Lubricant Level Inspection Procedures.

5. Remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.

6. Raise and secure the rear of the exhaust system.

7. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle Service and Repair.
