Verification Test VER-1A - No Start Verification Test

1. Inspect the vehicle to ensure that all engine components are connected. assemble and connect components as necessary.

2. Inspect the engine oil and change the oil and filter if the oil is contaminated, .

3. Attempt to START the engine.

- If the engine is unable to START, check all pertinent Technical Service Bulletins and return to TEST FC-1A if necessary.

- If the engine is able to START and the Powertrain Control Module has been changed, the repair is now complete.

- If the engine is able to START and the powertrain control module has not been changed, connect the scan tool to the data link connector and erase faults. The repair is now complete.
