Normal Operation
The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors engine temperature using the cylinder head temperature sensor through circuits 8-RJ33 (WH/VT) and 9-RE8 (BN). When the engine coolant temperature has reached an overtemperature condition, the PCM will provide an overtemperature signal to the instrument cluster over the standard corporate protocol (SCP) communication network.
