Normal Operation
The short drop window feature is enabled when the convertible top switch is activated (hardtop removed). The FEM will enable the short drop window feature and send an SCP message over the communication link to the REM so it may enable the short drop window feature, also. Whenever a door is opened, the door ajar switch position will be sensed by the FEM (driver door) or the REM (passenger door), and the appropriate module will activate the short drop window feature by lowering the window approximately 1 inch. When the door(s) is closed, the FEM/REM will fully close the window.
