Quarter Trim Panel - 4-Door

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the D-pillar trim panel. For additional information, refer to D-Pillar Trim Panel D-Pillar Trim Panel.

2. Remove the rear seat bolster. For additional information, refer to Seating Seat Bolster - Rear.

3. Remove the safety belt lower anchor.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).





4. Position aside the rear door weatherstrip.

5. Remove the upper quarter trim panel bolt cover.

6. Remove the upper quarter trim panel bolt.

7. Remove the upper and lower quarter trim panels.
- Pull the upper quarter trim panel outward to release the upper quarter trim panel retaining clips.

8. Remove the safety belt from the lower quarter trim panel.
- Remove the safety belt retractor bezel from the lower quarter trim panel.

- Remove the safety belt retractor bezel from the safety belt.

- Feed the safety belt through the lower quarter trim panel.

9. NOTICE: To avoid damage to the quarter trim panels, remove any retaining clips from the body and attach them to the quarter trim panel before installing.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

- To install, make sure to align the trim panel retaining clips to the retaining clip holes in the body.
