Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Rear Side Area
Special Tools Required
- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014

Rear Side Trim Panel
NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to bend or scratch the trim or the panels.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
1. Remove these items:
- Door sill trim Service and Repair
- Rear seat
- Hatch weatherstrip, as needed Hatch Weatherstrip Replacement
- Cargo floor lid Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Cargo Area
2. Remove the lower anchor bolt (A) and remove the screws, then remove the tie down hooks (B).
3. Remove the rear side trim panel (A).
1. Remove the screws (B, C) and detach the clips (D).
2. Remove the seat belt lid (E) from the trim panel.
3. Pull back the upper edge of the panel to release the upper hooks (F) from the C-pillar trim (G).
4. Pull back the upper edge of the panel to release the hooks (H) from the D-pillar trim (I).
5. Detach the clips (J, K) and pull back the panel.
6. Passenger's side: Disconnect the accessory power socket connector (L).
4. Install the trim in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Make sure the trim does not pinch the seat belt.
- Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
- Push the clips and the hooks into place securely.
- Before installing the anchor bolt, make sure there are no twists or kinks in the seat belt.
