Water Passage Replacement

J35A6, '07 model J35A7 engines

1. Drain the engine coolant Service and Repair.

2. Do the battery removal procedure Removal and Replacement.

3. Remove the intake manifold Intake Manifold Removal/Installation.

4. Disconnect the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve connector, the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor 1, the ECT sensor 2 connector, the upper radiator hose, the lower radiator hose, the heater hoses, and the water bypass hoses from the water passage.

5. Remove the water passage and related parts.






6. Install the water passage in the reverse order of removal.

7. Install the intake manifold Intake Manifold Removal/Installation.

8. Do the battery installation procedure Removal and Replacement.

9. Refill the radiator with engine coolant, and bleed the air from the cooling system with the heater valve open Service and Repair.

10. Clean up any spilled engine coolant.
