Tailgate Spoiler Trim Replacement
NOTE: Take care not to scratch the tailgate and body.
1. Remove the tailgate upper trim .
2. Remove the bolts and the nuts securing the tailgate spoiler trim.
3. Turn the collar (A) 90° clockwise, and disconnect the rear window washer tube (B).
4. Gently close the tailgate, and lift up on the tailgate spoiler trim (A) to detach the clips. Remove the high mount brake light connector grommet (B) from the tailgate, and disconnect the high mount brake light connector (C), then remove the tailgate spoiler trim. Take care not to scratch the tailgate and body.
5. Remove the grommets (D) from the tailgate, then insert the grommets into the clips on the tailgate spoiler trim.
6. Install the spoiler trim in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Make sure the connector is plugged in properly and the washer tube is connected properly.
- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips into place securely.
