Second Row Seat Cover Replacement

NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to tear the seams or damage the seat covers.
Seat-back Cover
1. Remove the second row seat Second Row Seat Removal/Installation.
2. Remove the third row seat access knob (A). Peel off the label (B) and remove the screw, then remove the third row seat access trim (C) by detaching the clips.
3. Remove these items:
- Head restraint
- Second row seat-back recline lever Second Row Seat-Back Recline Lever Replacement
4. Fold the seat-back forward fully, insert a trim pad remover between the bottom of the back cover (A) and the seat frame until it squarely engages one of the clips (B, C). Gently pry on the clip until it detaches from the seat frame. Repeat for the other clips, then remove the back cover.
NOTE: Take care not to damage the back cover or the clip mounting pads.

5. Detach the clips and release all of the hooks (A) from the back of the seat-back, then pull back the seat-back cover.

6. With seat heater: Release the harness clip (A), then disconnect the seat heater connector (B).
7. Pinch the retaining tabs at the bottom of the head restraint guides (A), and pull the guides up to remove them.
8. Remove the second row seat armrest Second Row Seat Armrest Replacement.
9. Remove the seat-back cover/pad (A) from the seat-back frame (B).

10. Pull back the edge of the seat-back cover all the way around, and release the upholstery rings (A), then remove the seat-back cover (B).
11. Install the seat-back cover in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- To prevent wrinkles when installing a seat-back cover, make sure the material is stretched evenly over the pad before securing the hooks, the hook strips, and the clips.
- Replace all of the upholstery rings (A) fastening the seat-back cover (B) and pad wire (C) with new ones. Install them with commercially available upholstery ring pliers (D).
- Replace the wire ties you removed with new ones.
- With seat heater: Make sure the seat heater connector is plugged in properly.
Seat Cushion Cover
1. Remove the second row seat Second Row Seat Removal/Installation.
2. Disassembly the second row seat Second Row Seat Disassembly/Reassembly.
3. Release the rear hook strips (A) from under the seat cushion (B).
4. Release the front hook strips (A) from under the seat cushion (B).
5. Remove the seat cushion cover/pad (A) from the seat cushion frame (B).
6. Pull back the edge of the seat cushion cover all the way around, and release the upholstery rings (A), then remove the seat cushion cover (B).

7. Install the seat cushion cover in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- To prevent wrinkles when installing a seat cushion cover, make sure the material is stretched evenly over the pad before securing the hooks, the hook strips, and the clips.
- Replace all of the upholstery rings (A) fastening the seat-back cover (B) and pad wire (C) with new ones. Install them with commercially available upholstery ring pliers (D).
- Replace the wire ties you removed with new ones.
- With seat heater: Make sure the seat-back heater connector is plugged in properly.
