Front Seat Removal/Installation

Do the ODS unit initialization Programming and Relearning after passenger's seat replacement.
NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the body or tear the seat covers.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
1. Tilt the steering wheel all the way up.
2. Passenger's seat: Slide the seat all the way forward, and remove the rear outer seat track cover (A) from the back of the seat track by detaching the clips and releasing the hook (B).
3. Passenger's seat: Remove the rear inner seat track cover (A) from the back of the seat track by detaching the clips.
4. Passenger's seat: Remove the bolt (A), and release the hook (B), then remove the lower anchor bracket (C) from the outer side front passenger's weight sensor (D).
5. Detach the clips and releases the hooks (A), then remove the rear riser cover (B).

6. Slide the seat fully to the rear to access the front riser cover.
7. Detach the clip and release the hook (A), and remove the front riser covers (B) from both sides.
8. Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure, then wait at least 3 minutes before removing the seat.
9. Remove the bolts securing the front seat (A), and remove the head restraint (B).
10. Tilt the front seat forward and disconnect the side airbag connector (A) on all types of the seats, the seat wire harness connector (B) on the driver's 10-way power seat and the passenger's manual seat, the seat belt switch connector (C) and the seat position sensor harness connector (D) on the driver's manual height adjustable seat, and detach the harness clip (E) on the driver's seat.
With navigation system: Disconnect the navigation unit connectors (F) and the GPS antenna harness connector (G) on the driver's 10-way power seat.
With AC power outlet: Disconnect the AC inverter unit connector (H) on the passenger's manual height adjustable seat.

11. Install the seat in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Apply medium strength liquid thread lock to the front seat mounting bolts before reinstallation.
- Make sure each connector is plugged in properly.
- Tighten the seat mounting bolts to the specified torque in the sequence shown. Slide the seat all the way back and tighten 1 and 2, then slide it forward and tighten 3 and 4.
- Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure.
