Camshaft Removal (R18A1 and R18A4 Engine)




Camshaft Removal

1. Remove the cylinder head. Cylinder Head Removal

2. Remove the rocker arm assembly. Rocker Arm Assembly Removal

3. Remove the camshaft sprocket. Camshaft Sprocket Removal/Installation (R18A1 and R18A4 Engine)

4. Remove the camshaft position (CMP) sensor. CMP Sensor Replacement

5. Remove the camshaft thrust cover (A), then pull out the camshaft (B).
