Camshaft Sprocket Removal and Installation

Removal

1. Remove the cam chain. Cam Chain Removal

2. Remove the rocker arm assembly. Rocker Arm Assembly Removal

3. Hold the camshaft with a 27 mm open-end wrench, then loosen the bolt.

4. Remove the camshaft sprocket.






Installation

1. Install the camshaft sprocket.

2. Apply new engine oil to the threads of the camshaft sprocket mounting bolt, and install it. Hold the camshaft with a 27 mm open-end wrench, then tighten the bolt.

Specified Torque:
10 x 1.25 mm
56 N-m (5.7 kgf-m, 41 lbf-ft)

3. Install the rocker arm assembly. Rocker Arm Assembly Installation

4. Install the cam chain. Cam Chain Installation
