Water Pump Replacement

1. Remove the drive belt Service and Repair.

2. Drain the engine coolant Service and Repair.

3. Remove the tensioner pulley Drive Belt Auto-Tensioner Pulley Replacement.

4. Bolted-down type pulley: Remove the water pump pulley (A).

5. Remove the six bolts securing the water pump (B), then remove the water pump.

6. Inspect and clean the mating surface of the water passage.

7. Install the water pump with a new O-ring (C) and the water pump pulley.

8. Clean up any spilled engine coolant.

9. Install the tensioner pulley Drive Belt Auto-Tensioner Pulley Replacement.

10. Install the drive belt Service and Repair.

11. Refill the radiator with engine coolant, and bleed the air from the cooling system Service and Repair.
