Passenger's Airbag Cutoff Indicator Replacement

1. Do the battery terminal disconnection procedure Procedures, then wait at least 3 minutes before starting work.

2. With navigation: Remove the dashboard center vent Dashboard Center Vent Removal/Installation (With Navigation).

3. Without navigation: Remove the audio unit.

4. Disconnect the 6P connector (A) from the passenger's airbag cutoff indicator (B).





5. Push out the passenger's airbag cutoff indicator from behind the dashboard center vent or the audio unit (C).

6. Reinstall the parts in the reverse order of removal.

7. Do the battery terminal reconnection procedure Procedures.

8. Clear any DTCs with the HDS.

9. Confirm proper SRS operation: Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), and check that the SRS indicator and the passenger's airbag cutoff indicator comes on for about 6 seconds and then goes off.
