-NO- Replace the audio-navigation unit Audio-Navigation Unit Removal and Installation.

7. Open wire check (GND line):

Open wire check (GND line)
-1. Measure the voltage between test points 1 and 2.

Is there less than 0.2 V?
-YES- Go to step 8.
-NO- Repair an open or high resistance in the wire between the stereo amplifier and body ground (G505).

8. Shorted wire check (SPKR lines, TWEETER lines, SUB_WOOFER lines):

Shorted wire check (SPKR lines, TWEETER lines, SUB_WOOFER lines)
-1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

-2. Disconnect the following connector.

-3. Check for continuity between these test points and body ground individually.

Is there continuity?
-YES- Repair a short to body ground in the wire(s) between the audio-navigation unit and the speaker(s).
-NO- Go to step 9.

9. Determine possible failure area (speaker, others) 1:

Determine possible failure area (speaker, others) 1
-1. Check the speaker(s) with no sound for any damage.

Is there any damage?
-YES- Replace the faulty front door speaker(s) Front Door Speaker Removal, Installation, and Test (4-door).
-YES- Replace the faulty rear speaker(s) Rear Speaker Removal, Installation, and Test (4-door).
