Is there less than 0.2 V?
-YES- Go to step 9.
-NO- Repair an open or high resistance in the wire between the stereo amplifier and body ground (G505).
9. Shorted wire check (SPKR lines, TWEETER lines, SUB_WOOFER lines):
Shorted wire check (SPKR lines, TWEETER lines, SUB_WOOFER lines)
-1. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
-2. Disconnect the following connector.
-3. Check for continuity between these test points and body ground individually.
Is there continuity?
-YES- Repair a short to body ground in the wire(s) between the audio unit and the speaker(s).
-NO- Go to step 10.
10. Determine possible failure area (speaker, others) 1:
Determine possible failure area (speaker, others) 1
-1. Check the speaker(s) with no sound for any damage.
Is there any damage?
-YES- Replace the faulty front door speaker(s) Front Door Speaker Removal, Installation, and Test (4-door).
