With the conditions held as A4, suddenly accelerate to approximately 2500 rpm

Has the voltage risen to between 600mV & 1 volt?

Yes
Go to A7 A7: Heated O2 Sensor Short Circuit to Ground

No
Renew O2 sensor; reconnect plug(s)
Go to A6 A6: Stop
