A-Pillar Trim Panel

Service Repair No - 76.13.26

Removal

WARNING: The air bag is mounted directly under this component, extreme care is necessary.

1. Release the door aperture weatherstrip for access.
2. Release the screw cover.
^ Remove the Torx screw.

3. Remove the A-pillar upper trim panel.
^ Carefully release the 2 clips.







4. NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

Remove the 2 clips.

Installation

1. Install the clips.
2. Install the A-pillar upper trim panel.

CAUTION: Make sure the Torx screw is not over tightened. Failure to follow this instruction will result in damage to the vehicle.

Install the door aperture weatherstrip.
^ Secure the clips.
^ Tighten the Torx screw to 2 Nm (1.5 ft. lbs.).
^ Install the screw cover.
^ Install the door aperture weatherstrip.
