Removal





BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: BRAKE ACTUATOR: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY

HINT
Refer to the instructions for Removal of the brake master cylinder sub-assembly Removal.

2. REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET

(a) Release the lock lever and disconnect the brake actuator connector.

(b) Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the 6 brake lines from the brake actuator assembly with bracket.





(c) Use tags or make a memo to identify the places to reconnect.

(d) Slide the clip and disconnect the vacuum hose from the check valve.





(e) Remove the front No. 1 brake line and rear No. 1 brake line from the clamp.

NOTICE:
Do not damage the brake lines or clamp.

(f) Remove the 2 bolts and nut, and separate the brake actuator assembly with bracket from the body.





(g) Remove the brake actuator assembly with bracket.





NOTICE:
Do not damage the brake lines.

3. REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 3 bolts and the brake actuator assembly from brake actuator bracket assembly.





4. REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR BRACKET ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 3 brake actuator bolt collars and 3 brake actuator bolt case cushions from the brake actuator bracket assembly.
